Toroidal magnetic cores of the new Series MSTN are made of a Fe-based thin (20 microns) nanocrystalline ribbon and have low loss, high induction of saturation, high operating temperature (up to 150 °C), high magnetic permeability. Magnetic cores have a negative temperature coefficient of losses that provides stabilization mode transformer temperature. MSTN series is designed for application in power high- frequency transformers push-pull and forward converters. High permeability provides good electromagnetic connection of windings and low leakage inductance values. This improves the quality of the transformer, increases the efficiency (performance factor) and reduces the electromagnetic interference of source. However, in some applications, high permeability may cause problems, such as DC-DC converters with open collector, where the two halves of the primary winding are connected directly to the collectors of power transistors. To avoid the risk of saturation of the magnetic core developers need to ensure an exact match of volt-second area half-waves. In particular, it automatically provides at time of supply for the primary winding through a capacitor.

СONFIGURATION:

Magnetic cores are available in two versions:
1. In a hard protective container of glass-filled polyamide. Operating temperature range from -60 to +120 ° C. The container has rounded edges and is designed for direct application to a thick wire winding. Container provides a reliable mechanical protection of nanocrystalline material and the preservation of its properties.
2. With special high-temperature epoxy powder coating. Max range of operating temperatures from -60 to +150 ° C.

All materials conform to standard UL94V-0/1
