The cores of MSK series are made of thin (25 +-5 microns) Co-based amorphous ribbon, have square B-H loop and have much higher permeability than their analogs made of Fe-Ni-based permalloys and ferrites.

Having a very high inductance at the moment of the current transition through zero, these products effectively block the rapid changes in electrical current, which could lead to electrical noise and interference, as well as damage the semiconductor devices with short high-potential emissions.

This class of products provides more efficient noise reduction, essentially eliminating their cause, significantly reduces losses compared to the classical RC snubbers and ferrite cores of similar purpose.

CONFIGURATION:

Ribbon wound magnetic core is placed into hard protective container of glass-polyamide and mechanically fixed with silicone sealant. The container provides reliable mechanical protection and preservation of amorphous material's properties. All materials comply with UL94V-1 / 0.
